Dr. Michael Laitman To Change the World – Change Man

What Is the Meaning of the Saying, “Anyone Who Feels Confident in This World Is a Stranger in Heaven. And Vice Versa”?

It means that our egoistic nature separates us from the true reality, which is love, bestowal, and connection. Our egoism, the desire to enjoy for personal benefit alone, gives us a false sense of confidence, “false” because it actually isolates us. The ego does not let us channel the positive force of love, bestowal, and connection dwelling in nature into the world. If we feel secure and confident in our individual egos, then we block the flow of that higher force.

The solution is to feel completely dependent on the upper force of love, bestowal, and connection. That is true confidence. Then, we do not cave in to the false sense of confidence that our egoistic nature continually surfaces in us, but we develop a new sense of confidence in our connection with a much higher force. When we adhere to that force, we become happier and more at peace. Why? It is not because we control anything, but because we align with the very source that holds total control over our lives.

This world is full of voices trying to teach self-confidence, but none of them possess it. They sell what they themselves seek. True confidence comes only when we know we are doing what the higher force in nature wants from us, consciously and willingly.
