Dr. Michael Laitman To Change the World – Change Man

How Should You Live Life So That You Have No Regrets Before Dying?

The formula for dying without regrets is the effort to be ready for death, i.e., to live as we believe that we should within our limited abilities. Then, when the time comes to die, we will have no regrets about how we lived.

Life itself is our connection with the supreme thought that creates and sustains life. In the wisdom of Kabbalah, this supreme thought is called “the thought of the Creator.” This thought is beyond the human mind’s grasp, but we can try to understand and implement what it wishes us to know and to attain.

Life is about constantly learning about this higher thought, undergoing ups and downs within such learning, and what helps us on the way is our connection to each other and the attainment of the higher wisdom that comes from our attempts to draw ourselves closer to the thought of the Creator.

What is the main thought of the Creator? It is for us to reach a desire to connect with everyone and nature as a single whole, and to discover the Creator’s eternality and perfection in such a motion.

On one hand, we can exercise our imagination to picture what it means to exist in eternity and perfection. On the other hand, we can also depict the kind of suffering that comes from the Creator not granting us an exit from the mind’s limitations. Let us hope that we advance in our development to the point where we meet with that choice.
