We should unite because unity is the fundamental idea that bonds us all.
It is above life, above death—above everything.
Beyond the myriad self-serving goals, pleasures and values in our lives, unity is actually of utmost importance. Complete unity—where we are all there for each other, connected by the unifying force dwelling in nature—is our true state beyond our temporary and imaginary picture of the world, where we view ourselves as competing separate beings.
We should thus aim to unite above our divisions now and forever. The more we raise the value of our unity above everything else, the more we rise above our transient, egoistic and divisive drives, and connect to our true, eternal and perfect state.
We need to unite in order to fulfill our role within the laws of nature that ultimately develop us to higher states of unity. By calibrating our attitudes in a direction of unification above the many hateful and negative views that surface in us, we draw ourselves closer to balance with nature—a state of total harmony and peace.
Our unity, however, should not be merely for the sake of living comfortably and pleasantly, but for the sake of the idea of unity itself: to love others as ourselves no matter what the conditions are.
