One of the fundamental principles of Kabbalah is that reality unfolds according to a comprehensive and purposeful plan. Everything that happens around us, whether in society, nature, history, or even the vast movements of the universe, takes place within this immense program of development. We exist inside this process, not outside of it. Therefore, our task is not to try to change the course of reality itself, but to learn how to align ourselves correctly with it.
Most of the suffering we experience comes from attempting to resist the direction in which nature is leading us. We tend to believe that the problem lies outside of us, in circumstances, in other people, and in events. As a result, we invest enormous effort trying to change the external world. But according to Kabbalah, correction is always internal. Instead of trying to alter what comes from outside, we should correct ourselves so that we adapt ourselves to reality.
When we begin to develop this perspective, something remarkable happens. We start to see that everything arrives exactly when it should. Events no longer appear random, unfair, or misplaced. Instead, we begin to reveal an inner order and purpose. What once seemed like obstacles or disturbances are understood as necessary elements in a process designed to advance us to greater awareness and connection.
In such a state, regret gradually disappears because we understand that every event served a purpose in our development. Everything that unfolds before us becomes like a lesson, showing us what still needs to be corrected within us. The world acts as a mirror, reflecting the inner work that remains to be done.
Then reality is no longer experienced as hostile or opposing us. Instead, we learn to perceive it correctly, to agree with it, to unite with its direction, and to advance together with it. We actively change ourselves so that we resonate with the deeper current of nature.
The goal of doing so is balance and harmony with nature. We reach a state where we feel balanced with the forces operating on us. Instead of struggling against reality, we flow with it. In such harmony, we begin to sense the wisdom and benevolence embedded in the very plan of nature itself.
