Social networks were not born with the Internet. They existed long before, and not only in humanity, but throughout all of nature.
Life develops when opposites connect. The more opposite the elements, the more complex their connections. In each element is an inner force that drives it to connect with others. This is the desire to exist in goodness, to receive pleasure and enjoyment. It can also be called “the will to enjoy,” or “the ego.” From each side’s desire to be fulfilled, connection is formed and balance is clarified.
In us, human beings, the ego keeps growing, developing various needs and pulling us in different directions. On one hand, the ego wants to remain alone. On the other hand, alone it has nothing to live on. So it must connect with others, and pay something for it. From this arise interactions of giving and receiving, and networks of connection are formed.
Throughout the Middle Ages, social and cultural networks were mostly the domain of elites. Most of the public was occupied with survival. Then came the technological revolution, and people organized themselves into various professional networks. In the 20th century, radio, television, and mass communication flourished. Later, the Internet arrived and changed our lives completely.
Connection became online, two-way, and highly intense. People share everything, upload photos from every situation they are in, including what they eat, drink, and simply where they are. A kind of inner urge has developed in people to express themselves, to pour everything into the network, while also observing what others are going through.
Where does this come from? It comes from the development of the ego, the desire to enjoy. At every stage of development, it causes a different network of connection to emerge. At the peak of our development, if we analyze the trends, we will likely become completely connected to one another, like organs in a single body, in balance among all, in a perfect integral connection. Until then, there is still a way to go, and today’s Internet can serve as a platform to help.
For a moment, set aside all the division, separation, and hatred that currently dominate social networks and create a foul atmosphere, and enter the following vision with an open mind:
A game, a challenge, an adventure, something that lifts you out of the gray routine, out of the endless chase after who-knows-what, out of pressures and tensions that never let go. Something exciting that gives great meaning, a higher purpose that illuminates your path, something so engaging that you will enjoy dreaming about it at night and running toward it every free moment.
Welcome to a new kind of social network, a network that serves as a springboard to the next evolutionary stage.
The goal of this network is to elevate the quality of our connections to a spiritual level, beyond all the limitations of physical perception we currently experience, beyond time, space, and motion. So that we can feel the inner energy within each person, what is called “the soul,” as well as those who have already passed from this world and those who have yet to appear in it, to feel everything that was, is, and will be, all of nature, all of creation.
How will this goal be achieved? Through a new protocol of connection, an integral one. The system’s architecture will guide participants toward reciprocity, connection, and mutual support. Through various means, it will lead them to understand what integral connection is, what proper connection is. The focus will not be on each individual as a unit trying to draw as much satisfaction as possible into themselves, but on stepping out of personal boundaries toward a good connection with others.
Each person will rise above their ego in order to unite with others in love, and the shared connection that emerges will begin to have a life of its own. Gradually, it will envelop participants in a kind of “bubble,” a spiritual sensory vessel capable, as it were, of rising above the Earth, traveling between galaxies, and taking them into another dimension.
Throughout this developmental process, the body and physical life will continue as usual, but our attitude to them will change. They will become something we maintain so that we can engage in developing spiritual life. Step by step, we will discover that we are not creating anything new, but rather revealing what has always existed, that the perfect network of connection exists deep within nature, but our narrow egoism has concealed it.
Efforts to rise above it will develop within us a new capacity for perception, through which we will consciously realize the full potential within us.
This entire development is also called the “path of light” or the “path of awareness,” and it is toward this place that the evolution of the network of connection between individuals and society is pushing us.
So if the Internet revolution was a kind of preparation, today it is both possible and necessary to move to the next stage. Without full, unrestricted connection, we will be unable to survive the challenges of an interconnected world, nor provide meaning for the next generation. Suffering will increase and distress will deepen until we understand that the development of life requires flow, connection into one, opening our hearts to a higher love.
