Until recently, the foundations of control were power, money, and information. Today, however, various processes unfolding in parallel are painting an unclear reality.
Empires are collapsing, both in the East and the West. Ideologies and worldviews are crumbling. No one knows how to envision a better tomorrow. Humanity finds itself at a dead end, without long-term or even short-term plans.
This distress is also felt in personal life. People struggle to maintain relationships. The family unit is collapsing. Many say that things will be okay and keep running, but inside, the emptiness keeps growing, and more and more people require sedatives to keep on going.
Throughout history, whenever we managed to replicate something from the wisdom of nature, art and science advanced. Today, however, we no longer feel the drive to develop, as if the engine has been turned off. This is a sign that we need to rise to an entirely new level, qualitatively different from anything before.
In the system of nature, everything operates through cause and effect, through strict laws. Can we understand the direction that our lives are headed toward?
Year by year, the world is becoming more interconnected and interdependent. Simultaneously, each person’s ego is growing, i.e., the desire to enjoy for self-benefit alone at the expense of others, and we are unable to get along while we all live in the same “boat.” Yet, the inanimate, vegetative, animate, and human levels all form a single integral system. Continued development requires us to adapt, i.e., to recognize and learn the integral code underlying nature, and to build integral relationships within society.
As we learn such phenomena, they will change us from within, bringing new directions, ideas, and strengths, with implications across all areas of life.
The future lies in consideration, complementarity, and cooperation between individuals, nations, and with the environment.
In this perceptual revolution, which will elevate humanity beyond the limits of individual ego to a sense of the whole of society, those with influence have a decisive role.
Just as during the Industrial Revolution people were taught literacy, mathematics, and engineering, today’s influencers can bring integral knowledge to everyone through the media so that we can each feel the system we are part of and understand how to relate to others in it.
In the future world, we will need to ensure that everyone benefits from the fruits of technology and that no one lacks materially. However, beyond that, the great challenge will be the development of the human spirit. Those who lead such processes will earn the greatest appreciation, because people will feel that they are truly bringing fulfillment to their souls.
