If you want to raise a true prayer that will be answered, you need to open your heart and let the prayer that is already inside emerge naturally. This is the only way it can be a real prayer, otherwise it is not a prayer.
By “heart,” I do not mean the physical organ. I mean the sum of your deepest desires and aspirations, and more precisely, your complaints about life. This is the heart: all your unfulfilled desires, the ones you want to bring before the Creator, asking Him why they have not been fulfilled.
But not every unfulfilled desire receives a response. Only one kind does: the desire that is turned specifically to the Creator for its fulfillment. It is not about the object of the desire, whether it is money, happiness, fame, or success, but about the source you expect to fulfill it.
Ultimately, you want the Creator Himself to fill your desire, and only that will satisfy you. Even if He gives you just a single drop, it is enough, because it came from Him.
