We live in times where many businesses are vanishing off the face of the planet, as we increasingly discover no essential need for much of what we produce and advertise to each other. Nevertheless, there is a tendency to sustain such businesses forcefully, otherwise they would disappear.
As we head into the future, we will need more and more positive human connection, since the world is becoming ever more interconnected and interdependent. Therefore, businesses that serve to bring people closer together will flourish and succeed. Moreover, there will be an increasing need for more organizations, movements, groups, and businesses that will take care of human relations in a more direct manner than is available today.
The new kinds of connections we will need to establish are those that consider the whole of human society. Such connections are rarely, if ever, discussed. The connections we have and understand in our present reality are those with our relatives, family, and close friends, as well as connections born of natural attraction like the love between couples, and a mother’s love for her child. However, as we head into an increasingly interconnected and interdependent future, we have to build new relationships among all people.
Since we lack the knowledge of how to develop positive human connections above our differences, we enter into several negative forms of connection such as conflicts and wars. Besides learning about how we can better connect, we will find that we really have nothing else to do. By developing positive connections among all people above the egoistic and divisive drives we all share, we will build our society in a way that turns it into a harmonious, peaceful, and happy place to live. Therefore, developing positive human connections will be a sector that will need to thrive as we head into the future throughout all human activity in order for us to be able to shift course to a harmonious evolutionary direction.
