We need to perceive life’s twists and turns with a certain level of excitement, like a game.
Similar to when we play chess: our opponent makes a move on the chessboard, and we begin to see our next move. We should rejoice that we hold connection with such a “player.” We wish, through this connection with this player, to discover the Creator, the upper force of love and bestowal that is behind this entire game.
Then, every one of our responses, our thoughts, decisions, and inner shifts, becomes part of the adventure. This inner work is our real journey.
Even if we do not yet feel that the Creator is behind these twists of fate, the desire to sense Him, to understand Him through these movements, already leads us along the most effective and optimal path.
That is exactly what we wish to achieve: to discover that behind every move in our life stands the One who plays with us, lovingly, wisely, and with the sole purpose of bringing us closer to Him.
