Dr. Michael Laitman To Change the World – Change Man

How Do You Try to Imagine Eternity?

From the upper force of love and bestowal, which is called “the Creator” in Kabbalah, we receive desires and fulfillments.

We feel desires as hunger and suffering. On the contrary, we feel fulfillments or pleasures as attainments of perfection to the exact extent by which we desire them.

In our everyday lives, we cannot receive continuous fulfillment because there is no simultaneous revelation of desires and fulfillments in us.

If, however, we correctly prepare ourselves to receive fulfillment, “correctly” meaning that we do so with the same bestowing intention that the Creator has toward us, then we receive the desire from the Creator simultaneously with the fulfillment.

Imagine, for instance, a person who eats food and feels an ongoing sense of hunger together with a continual sense of satiation. Now take that picture and multiply it across all of our desires.
