When we look at humanity through the eyes of the upper governance, we see that there is no fixed place assigned to a person. A person can be placed anywhere in the world, and with time, adapt to it and call that place home. This is the nature of human psychology. We adjust to the conditions given to us and begin to feel that this is where we belong.
When I understood that my path led to Israel, I did not hesitate. I first moved from Belarus to Lithuania, entering a different atmosphere entirely. It made the next step easier, of letting go and leaving behind what was before. In Belarus, people were even afraid to ask, “When are you leaving?” But for me, everything became clear and simple.
We must learn to accept what exists, to embrace the reality that unfolds before us, and to detach from the past. That is the way to move forward.
