Is Freedom? Is True Freedom Possible?

First, true freedom does not mean political independence or anything else to do with external conditions. Freedom, in the true spiritual sense, is the ability to rise above our egoistic nature and enter a new form of connection among each other.

Redemption means that we have been given a method, a system, through which we can correct the evil egoistic nature within, i.e., the desire for self-benefit at the expense of others, and transform it into good.

What is “good”? Good does not refer to an abstract moral idea. Instead, good is a state of mutual guarantee, a state where we are connected such that each person is responsible for everyone else.

Why is this a state of mutual guarantee considered “good”?

It is because we exist in two layers of reality. One is the narrow limited world we feel through our senses, the small sphere where we live our daily lives. The other is a much broader system, a higher level of forces that governs everyone and everything. This higher system is hidden from us, yet it determines everything that happens in our world.

In order to perceive this higher system, we need to resemble it. The nature of the higher system is one of harmonious connection, reciprocity, and bestowal. Therefore, when we create such a connection between us, that of mutual guarantee, mutual responsibility, and mutual concern, we begin to feel the positive force of nature dwelling within this connection.

This connection is not simply cooperation or agreement. It is not “you and me working together.” It is something deeper. It is when all of us come out of ourselves and enter a common space, a shared field of connection where there is no longer “I” and “you,” but a single center that we all build together.

In this shared field, a new force is born. It is not just the sum of our individual efforts. Each of us overcomes our ego in order to connect, and precisely because of this, a new quality emerges: the force of collective bestowal and love. That is mutual guarantee. Within this force, we discover the positive force dwelling in nature, which we also call “the Creator.”

This is a law of nature. When we build the correct connection between us, we reveal the force that operates reality. We begin to understand the program of creation, the direction of development, and how to live correctly, above time and confusion, with clarity and purpose.

Therefore, unity is not just a social ideal. It is the key to a safe, comfortable, and good life.

Today, the world is becoming increasingly interconnected and interdependent. A problem that transpires in one part of the world is quickly felt in other parts. Humanity is beginning to feel that we depend on one another, yet we do not know how to live this way. This is the source of all our problems.

Here lies the role of Israel. It is not a nation in the ordinary sense, but a group that once discovered this method of connection and needs to now realize it again and pass it on to the world.

There is a misconception that when Jews unite, it creates suspicion or hostility. That is true only if the unity is egoistic, or in other words, that is a closed and self-serving form of unity. However, if the unity is aimed at benefiting all, at bringing connection and balance to the world, then the opposite happens. The nations of the world begin to feel, even unconsciously, that this unity brings them good.

We are already parts of one interconnected system. When we create a positive connection within it, it spreads throughout the whole network. People begin to feel an increased sense of relief, mutual understanding and awareness, even without knowing why.

This is why the correction must begin with us, but it is for everyone.

Freedom is not the escape from something external. Freedom is the acquisition of the ability to harmoniously connect, to rise above our ego, and to reveal the higher force within that connection. If we do this, we not only improve our lives, we undergo a fundamental transformation and discover a new higher nature of connection, reciprocity, and mutual bestowal.
