Everything we see around us—people, events, objects, successes, failures, disturbances, and even seemingly random encounters—is not random. It is a picture deliberately arranged and presented to us so that we will discover the single upper force of love, bestowal, and connection that created us, which Kabbalah calls “the Creator.”
How will we know that we have truly discovered the perception and sensation of this force? It is that behind all phenomena, objects, and everything that happens, we begin to perceive one quality, that of goodness and love. That is when we discover that all life experiences were ultimately to bring us to this heightened, true perception of reality.
We then feel that this higher force surrounds us, fills reality, and guides everything, even what previously seemed to us as dark, cruel, or meaningless. This awareness and perception of the Creator as the force of absolute goodness and love behind all reality is the beginning of our attainment of the true, higher reality that exists above our inborn egoistic perception of reality.
