We lack only the right intention behind the technology we create and use to make sure that technology improves our lives, and not the other way around.
We should thus increase the importance of strengthening an attitude of mutual consideration and responsibility throughout society. The more we would feel a genuine concern for one another, then the more we would develop and use technology in ways that would make our lives better.
The more that we value qualities of positive connection and giving throughout society, then at the very least, we would not wish to enact anything harmful or negative unto others, and beyond not bringing about any harm, we would also wish to contribute our very best to society. We would then certainly make sure that technology would make our lives better, not worse.
